The Contrast Calibre

(Contrast colour-block asymmetric top - by Ottoman, Racer back basic tank - from Kookai, Waist high chinos - from Zara, Steel choker - from Sportsgirl, Platforms - from Rubi Shoes, Envelope clutch - from Bardot, MAC lipstick - Morange)

It's been long-due since my last post and since then Tim and I have been finding very little time to squeeze in the opportunity for a shoot at all, with such conflicting schedules. I've been juggling final major assessments at uni, attending important events such as baby showers, birthdays, mothers day and so forth, and last but not least, I've also been jumping between new jobs to even find the time to sit behind a screen. And in less than a week I never knew I would have landed an amazing career opportunity at Sydney's Flagship Burberry store. So everything has been all topsy turvy, but all so rather exciting! So I'm really looking forward to begin work as of next week, but will definitely keep you guys posted on my progression with the company.

But anyway, I manage to pick up an amazing contrast assymmetric top by Ottoman at Sydney's Fashion Weekend last Friday out with the girls. The bold colour contrast is a trend I've been hunting more styles of for this season. Collaborating with simple cuts and bold accessories makes it the ultimate simplistic, chic look. Not too over the top, yet its not too under dressed, but just a balanced style for the metropolitan girl.
